The sidebar can only be used on Internet Explorer 5, 6 and 7
Installing for internet explorer is most likely the hardest way. You can't save the sidebar so you'll have to revist this page each time you want to use it (bookmarking this page is usefull). For Internet Explorer 7 users Go to Tools->Internet Options-Advanced and click "Enable websites to use the search pane*" and restart your browser. End Internet Explorer 7 users Now click here to start using it. F.A.Q. I can't find that setting "Enable websites to use the search pane*", where is it? You don't need to do this if you don't have internet explorer 7. If you have ie7 then go to Tools->Internet Options-Advanced and click "Enable websites to use the search pane*" and make sure you restart the browser. There is nothing in the sidebar, what's wrong? |
